Cooper says he’s always been a performer, and listening to his earnest balladry, we’re inclined to agree. It’s impressive Cooper can manage his own from raging Outlaw bangers to sprase, honest tunes, but the star of the show is and always will be his ragged country voice, fit to sing whatever tale he encounters on the road.
