Best Playground

Reid Park

900 S. Randolph Way

Reid Park's slides, swings and jungle gyms would be enough to make this a Grade-A playground, but we think what really makes it stand out is the element of danger: Not many playgrounds are right next door to Siberian tigers, grizzly bears and other ferocious animals. And if the wonders of the zoo aren't enough, there's plenty more to do when you get tired of the merry-go-round: feed the ducks, grill some burgers, go swimming, ride a train, play ball, visit the dog park, see a concert, catch a baseball game. It's little wonder Reid Park remains our readers' favorite.

Runners up:

2. Brandi Fenton Memorial Park

3. McDonald Park
